(tryin to be) SO COOL.

Since I haven't blogged about anything exciting that has happened this summer, I thought this

would be a good way to kick off the fun summer posts.

So a little something about Kev. He loves to longboard. And he is quite good at it.

He bought me a longboard, so now we can be cool and go together.

I'm trying to get better so we can go along the beaches of Cali in a month, and look uber cool.

.....I need to practice a lot, because right now I look like a fool.

I'm glad its starting to feel like summer. I like the summer.
Yes I do.

he likes the symphony.

Yesterday was kind of crazy and I didn't have time to write this.
But it was sort of a special day.

This boy Kevin Grant Young turned 24.

I can't believe it.
Its not very often that the boy you had a major crush on but was entirely out of your league your whole life..ends up asking you on a date...

I thought all my dreams had come true the night of our first date.
I was content because I got to go on a date with THE Kevin Young.

and then to my surprise and I still don't know why to this day.
He kept asking me on dates.

He is just so amazing and I am so grateful to have him in my life.

I'm so glad he gave me a chance, cause I think he is just great.
Happy Birthday Boy!

sometimes i don't have a title.

I hate it when the weekends are over.
I live two different lives.
One that involves school, cold weather, giving tours, roommates, and about five days.
And another that involves two days of blissful happiness, an amazingly handsome boy and it never fails to go by too quickly.
---------------------------
I wish I could combine the two.
My life would be a lot easier. And more enjoyable.

Four more months...I can do it.
oh and I like this quote.
I think its kind of fitting.

I like warm-ness.

So the first two years that Kevin was home from his mission he had the amazing opportunity to go to Dixie and play on their soccer team.
He is an amazing soccer player...thats pretty much the only reason I like him.
:)
The second he moved back from St. George this summer he wanted to go back.
I remember him talking about it on our first date.
So...this Christmas break he finally got to do it.
I had the week after Christmas off of work, so we took a two day little road trip down to the land of warm.
We got to stay with the Greens-Kevs second family who he lived with his
second year down there.
It was so fun to visit with them, and to see kevin in his element.
Monday:
We saw Tangled, ate at the cutest little Cafe and Cake Parlor-
Twenty Five Main.
Its my new love. I want to make it a tradition to go there everytime i visit St. George.
I'm so mad we didn't take any pictures of it.
We hiked up to Dixie Rock.
Suzanne made Kevin his favorite meal, and we played a little Kinect with Bryant and Amber.

Tuesday:

I slept in entirely too long.

We played card games.

Ate a grape glacier at delicious Frostop.

Went shopping at the Hall (Mall)
Then stopped at the one and only Nielsons Frozen Yogurt.
Kev always talks about this place so we couldn't leave St. George without stopping here.
I'm so glad we finally got to go. It was fun to see all the places Kev always talks about and hear all of his stories while we were down there.

Then we headed back to the freezing-ness of salt lake.

Until next time St. Geezie....

the weekend.s.

Dear Fall Break,
You went by to quickly.
Please come back.
Sincerely, Ashley

Kev got to come up friday night and it was just lovely.
We went to a corn maze, carved some pumpkins, laid in a hammock that was up in a tree. Then sat by the warm cozy fire.

These days I pretty much live for the weekends.
Because weekends=Hanging out with Kevin.

I kinda like this boy.

a lot.

and it stinks that we live 82 miles away from each other.

As you can see from the pictures above he is a pretty funny boy.
And I miss him.

Sometimes when I see cute couples on campus holding hands I have to restrain myself from chucking my shoe at them. They don't know how lucky they have it.
Little poop heads.

Anyways.
Hope you had a great fall break too!
its friday tomorrow. so i am quite excited.

p.s. tomorrow is true aggie night.
i think i might have to convince a certain someone to make me a true aggie.
because that is one tradition i am fulfilling before i graduate.

Riding a Camel across the Desert wouldn't be my first choice of Transportation!

So I have decided to give blogging a go. I love reading my sisters blogs and keeping up on all the fun adventures they have throughout their week. I got an account about a month ago but haven't really known what to write about. This last week I went on one of the most random and fun dates I have ever been on and I think what we did on that date is a pretty blog worthy subject! It Definitely is a winner for a first ever blog entry. So....what did we do on this date that made it so epic?

We rode a camel!!!!! In Logan Utah!! Dean's friend has a farm and it is probably one of the coolest farms in the world (or Logan Utah) It was a blast! They had a very large array of animals some of them being: The Camel his name is Moses, huge 400 lb pigs, bunnies, cute dogs and black lab puppies, horses, cows, donkeys, goats, ponies, water buffalo, oh and did I mention the Zonkey and Zebra!? It was tons of fun! We went four wheeling around the fields, I got to ride on Moses, and also milk a goat! One word of caution: do not to mess with a camel if it is in a bad mood. They can get pretty furious and it is not pretty!
