Empty.

So it turns out you cars need gas in order to run correctly.
Who freakin knew!?

Well I obviously didn't because last night on my way home from work my car died in the middle of Sardine poopy canyon. Luckily this time I wasn't dressed like Professor Trelawny.

This time I was fortunate enough to have a car full of all my possessions because I am homeless this week, it was pitch black outside, and raining. That's right I said raining. But a real nice highway patrolman stopped and offered to help me fill up my oil....haha yes I thought it died because my oil was out. Wrong. Then he kindly offered to drive me back so I didn't have to freeze in my old grandma car all night.

My amazing friend Jessica Gifford is the only one I knew in Logan this week and she graciously let me bum at her house. And today I got to go to work in the same clothes and hair I had worked in the previous day. I am very grateful and I am sure my clients at the studio were glad she let me use some of her toothpaste to brush my teeth with my fingers. Don't you just love doing that? I don't.

Then today after work my lovely mother, father, and sister Kristen came and rescued me. Dad brought up the trusty old gas can we filled it up to the brim with gasoline. We all crossed our fingers as Dad started filling the BU up. And by some miraculous work from above the car started and got me safely home to Kearns, Ut.

I am so grateful that it wasn't anything other than my own stupidity and blondness that temporarily killed the car.
Lesson learned. From now on I will always check my gas gauge before entering the Bermuda canyon.
And I will never tell my mom I hopped into a car of a policeman again. She about had a heart attack when she found out...thinking he was a rapist or killer (mother I am not that stupid).

Thank you Officer Preece for rescuing me in the cold dark canyon. Thank you parents and sister for saving me from staying in logan without any belongings. Thank you Jessica for giving me shelter and muffins. And Thank you buick for still being a wonderful car...I will never put you through that torture again.
Sincerly-Me

Oh P.S. I got a 3.6!!! Wahoo!
Take that probation.

Splendid News.

Wonder of Wonders! Miracle of miracles!
(song from Fiddler on the Roof)

Yes...this magnificent song has been stuck in my head since I looked up my grades on my transcript.
So here is the story. My lovely counselor advised me to take Evolution-Biology 3010. Because it would fulfill two of my gay breadth requirements. So of course I thought wow, kill two birds with one stone! That will be wonderful, no it was not wonderful folks. In fact it was the extreme opposite of wonderful. I can officially say I hate evolution. It IS a theory. (that is the main thing I learned during this devil class). Luckily I had the wonderful Jessica Sweat and Madeline Newhouse in the class to suffer along with me, because without them I think I would have died.

So after months of extremely hard tests and writing ridiculous papers with very very very strict guidelines, all while trying really hard to sound scientific (which for me is very hard because I am definitely not scientifically minded) I just found out I got a
B-

Yay!!!!!!

Why am I cheering for such a bad grade?
Well because this is not a bad grade when you think you aren't going to pass the class.

People of the world I cannot tell you how much of a relief this is!!!

It is a wonder of wonder! Miracle of Miracles!
I don't know how I did pass!

Thank you Bill Brindley for giving me a passing grade..I am sorry I cursed your class almost everyday this last semester. You really are a nice old man.

But evolution you are still stupid.

LOST

So if there were one decision that would be the most horrible, worst decision you could ever make one week before finals it is this one.

Sunday night Hali and I decided it was a good night to fall asleep to a movie on the the trusty old lap top....as we are looking through her netflix account for something to watch she says we could watch lost....Why Why Why!?? Why would we ever do this to ourselves!

I have always thought LOST looked like a good show but never watched it when it first came out and was always to lazy to rent the seasons to watch them. Lucky for us Hali has a sweet netflix account so we can watch it anywhere anytime. Awesome right?

No. Not awesome. Especially the week before finals. We are so dumb.

Pretty sure the last four days we have watched 17 episodes....and when we aren't watching the amazingly addicting show we are thinking about it or dare I say dreaming about it.

Finals why do you have to get in the way of our new obsession?? You have hit us at a very inconvienant time.

I cannot wait until the blessed day comes when school. Until then I say DIBS on Jack.

Lets let the Sunshine take us there.

Alright so life since spring break has been going a million times faster then I would like it to. School is kinda killin me right now...really though.

But, Good news! There is only four more weeks until school is our for the Summer. That is crazy talk but oober exciting.

Katie Jo, Laura Luke, Haley Jeanne, and I are all staying up here in Logan for the summer months. And word on the street is Logan is the bomb during the summer.

Because school has been a mad house of craziness since i got back from California I have had hardly anytime to blog about my Spring Break festivities.

California was Amazing.

California IS Amazing.

Here is a condensed version of our S.B 2010 Itinerary:

Saturday: Wake up too early, Drive to Cali while trying not to get killed by killer tumble weed. Meet some cool Utah guys and get their numer while driving past vegas after we held up a Stop looking at the porn sign to them.

Check.

The Killer Tumble Weed...coming right up around that next bend.
Sunday: Went to a local singles ward which had really good speakers, walk down the hollywood walk of fame, find out its not as cool as you imagine cause lots of weirdos go there. Go the the Observatory that overlooks L.A's skyline.
Check.

I like to call this one Rabid Chip Munk.

Look Framiliar? This is where they filmed the Jog/Photography Club scene in Yes Man. This is us pretending to be the extra's in the movie.

Monday: Huntington Beach, it was so warm and wonderful.
Sunburns. Sand Castles. Sun Glasses.
Check.

That night we went to Dana Point and had a camp fire. We roasted hot dogs, mallows, and laid on the beach looking up at the stars while making up raps and almost peeing our pants. The boys we met on the freeway came and they were really cool.

Tuesday: The girls and boys seperated for the day while the boys went to a brazilian restaurant and the girls went shopping in old town Pasadena. We love H&M...just sayin.

Cute little Cupcake shop.
Later we met up with the boys in China Town..it was kinda boring.
Bought cool friendship bracelets.
Check.

That night we met the cool freeway boys at Santa Monica Pier. It was a lot of fun.
We stuffed our faces with Crepes. Played in the ocean at night. And met more kids from utah, and one that was in High School Musical. Score!
These are the cool boys.

Wednesday: St. Patricks day and Disneyland!!!

You can't tell by our faces but we were all pretty bitter towards Rain Forest Cafe. We waited for a table for about an hour and twenty minutes...the original wait time was 45.
Lame.

Thursday: Disneyland again! Hooray!

Heads popping off with excitement.
Check.

Friday: Newport temple, and Laguna beach.

The Newport Beach Temple is beautiful. It was an amazing experience.
Saturday: Six Flags.
Needless to say it was kind of a crapper. We only got to go on four rides the whole time.
Saw a whole lot of W.T.
Check.
But yet the roller coasters were still awesome..except when Laur and I got stuck on one for ten minutes.
It was such a fun trip!!! I am so glad we got to go.
California, someday I would like to live in you? On you?...but only for a little bit cause I would get homesick for Utah. Because Utah is pretty spectacular, except when it snows on April 1, 2, and 5.

Now & Then.

(ew. sorry this picture is kinda nasty quality. I had to take a picture of a picture cause it wasn't saved to my computer)

Saturday night I went down to SLC for Shannon Sue Ellens Bridal Shower.

After the shower the Six Chicks stayed together and had a little Six Chicks Bachelorette Party!

It was an amazingly fun night....it definitely wasn't your typical Bachelorette Party, but it was so fun.

These girls are amazing. It is crazy to think of all that we have been through as friends the last 7 years.

I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends.
Thank you girlies.

Sunshine.

So the last few days up here in Logan town have been absolutely delightful!!
I think it is finally safe to say spring is coming!!!
Hooray!
So...if spring is coming that means spring break is coming. And if spring break is coming that can only mean one thing.

I am so excited I could pee my pants. For Real.

Here are a few pictures I LOVE from my Cali trip with Em and Trav over the summer.

In my next life I think I want to be a Hippie.
Peace Out.
